Seven dead, five in a coma after Vietnam EDM festival

Last weekend in Vietnam, the Trip to the Moon festival featuring Headhunterz and Yellow Claw suffered a tragic emergency situation with seven dead and five in a coma after ingesting some sort of drug. The drug was not identified and synthetic drugs are said to be a large part of the dance music scene in Vietnam, for once potentially taking the blame off of ecstasy as the culprit. As of press time, the drug was not yet identified by local authorities.

This appears to be the largest number of deaths at a music festival in recent history, if ever. The city of Hanoi is now suggesting that EDM music festivals will be banned in the future (understandably) at least until the cause of the deaths is confirmed.
