Warren G And Diplo headlining at The Heineken House at Coachella Arts and Music Festival

Heineken® is back at Coachella as the official malt beverage sponsor for the 15th year, and is proud to announce it will bring the fan-favorite Heineken House back to the festival for both weekends, April 15–17 and April 22–24.  Festival attendees, ages 21 and over, will have the chance to engage with Heineken in a relaxed house party setting.

Building on the success of last year’s live musical performances, 2016 house guests will enjoy exclusive access to live shows by legendary artists including headliners Doctor P (Friday, 4/15), Warren G (Saturday, 4/16), and Diplo & Friends (Sunday, 4/17).  Also taking the Heineken House stage will be Crizzly, CRNKN, Green Lantern, DJ Jayceeoh, KAYZO, etc…..

At the center of all the action, Heineken House will not only serve up exclusive musical performances, but it will also feature a brand-new Sustainable Dance Floor.  Powered by the movement of the attendees during each set, the Sustainable Dance Floor converts the kinetic energy into electricity, which in turn powers the LED lights of the floor to create a unique party atmosphere.  The more house-goers dance, the more the house will shine.

When not listening to music, a Digital Art Wall inside the Heineken House is dedicated to bringing to life the creative spirit of the festival.  The Heineken House Digital Art Wall is an interactive simulation area that allows consumers to produce custom art with a selected stencil, or tag a selfie with a spray can.  Coachella attendees will then be able to print or email their artwork as a souvenir.

Heineken House, now in its third year at the festival, will have a special vibe this year as Heineken celebrates its global “More Behind the Star” campaign with custom bars, seating to cool off from the Indio heat and ice-cold Heineken on draught available on the Patio.  The House will uniquely showcase what festival attendees may not know about Heineken, including its 192 country global footprint, family-owned status and original recipe that has remained unchanged for 140 years.

“Heineken House arrives at Coachella this year to throw the ultimate house party,” said Pattie Falch, brand director for sponsorships and events, Heineken.  “We’re excited to once again bring to the festival top-notch musical talent and entertainment in a fantastic space right in the middle of all the action  where attendees can relax and enjoy some of their favorite things—music, art, and ice-cold beer.”

Heineken Cold Storage returns to the Festival camping ground this year and now with an enhanced delivery service format.  With Cold Storage On-Demand, campers’ cold beer will be stored for them and then delivered directly to their campsites by messengers when they are ready for it.  Taking advantage of Heineken Cold Storage also makes campers eligible for other on-site perks including prizes, beverage tickets or front-of-line access during a performance of their choice at Heineken House.

To participate in Heineken Cold Storage, campers can drop off their beverages and register for the text message based service. Beverages will be delivered daily from 12-7p.m. and all requests must be submitted no later than 6 p.m.

At this year’s festival, in support of its ongoing “Enjoy Heineken Responsibly” initiative, Heineken is partnering with Uber to activate a co-branded water station within the Uber Rider Lounge.  To encourage proper hydration after a long night on the dance floor, all water will be compliments of Heineken.
