Dj Kaleb Freitas, 30, was killed at the Atmosphere festival at the Atmosphere Festival in Esteio, Brazil. Three others were injured as well.
Weather reports indicated “gale-force winds and torrential rain” were expected however event organizers went ahead with the event. (Editor’s note – no doubt its a bit frustrating when at a festival and its halted or canceled due to high winds, etc., as seen here as well as the Indians State Fair in 2011, its done for your and the talent and employees safety).
