Lio in Ibiza town plans to open July 10th with the dinner show however no after club we are told. Their affiliated resort Destino opens July 16th. The famous (infamous?) Pikes Hotel also opens in July.  Pacha’s website is listing parties starting on August 1st including Solomun’s +1 party, Bedouin on Fridays, Masquerade (Claptone) on Saturdays and Music On (Marco Carola) on Thursdays. In addition the famed club is working on renovations as well including adding spaces to the main dance floor and adding a ‘secret’ bar.

Spain has announced they will open their country to tourism starting July 1st however only certain countries’ citizens will be allowed to enter at that time (it appears UK and US citizens will not be allowed initially).

Amnesia is planning on throwing events starting in July and have tickets for sale on their website. In big news, Jamie Jones is moving his Paradise party from DC10 to Amnesia this summer, assuming they can open their doors.

There are talks that the Ibiza season which typically ends around the end of September/early October will be extended into November to help the island recover some of their lost revenues.

While 2020 will definitely not be a normal year on the white isle, we are glad to see things taking a slight turn towards normal. Some of the proposed changes to allow the clubs to reopen include mandating face masks and serving drinks with straws
